The whole list of suggested books for you to enjoy this summer.

To help you keep track of your reading records, we have provided
a printable reading log.
Students Are Invited To:
- Read one book or as many as you wish
- Record the books read on the attached sheet, or anyÊ sheet
of paper. Have your parent initial each book read.
- Write about one book. For instance, what did the bookÊ mean
to you? How did it connect to your life? What is yourÊ opinion
of the book?
- Reward celebrate your summer reading in SeptemberÊ with a
party and prizes:
- Everyone will receive one panther buck for every book read
(up to 100 books).
- Those who participate by reading at least one book will be
entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to his or her favorite
book store. They will also be entered again every 10 books they
read (They will be entered once for reading 1-10 books,Ê twice
for 11-20, etc...).
- Everyone who participates by reading at least one book will
also be invited to a party with ice cream and drinks provided.
RememberŠ
- Have your parent initial your reading list
- Turn in your list when you return to school in September.
- Check out books from the JLS Library for the entire summer,
beginning June 12.
