My name is David Tomatis and I come to J.L.S. from Redwood City. I graduated from San Jose State University and finished a Masters' of Education Degree at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont. I have taught at JLS since the '00-'01 school year. I have taught both 7th and 8th grade Social Studies. I currently run the Classic Film Critics Club. I love the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland Raiders.

I like to go hiking, going to the coast, camping and fishing. Last summer I taught Introduction to Fishing in Summer School. It was great. I also like to travel a lot and take pictures of new places. I am looking forward to another good year with great students and supportive parents.
